01

An owner-builder, not a factory broker.

The founder is building his own home in Miami using this exact process. Every quote we send is informed by the suppliers, specs, and standards we've already vetted on our own jobsite.

02

QC the U.S. way, sourced the Chinese way.

Pre-shipment inspections at the factory with photo and video proof. Dimension verification before fabrication. NOA documentation handled where Miami-Dade requires it.

03

Pricing that survives contact with reality.

Quotes lock for 30 days and include ocean freight, customs, and trucking to your jobsite. No surprise adders at landing. The number on your bid is the number you pay.

+ Have something else in mind?

+ Have something else in mind?

Send us your scope — if it's manufactured, we'll find the source.

Bespoke, not catalog

Built to your spec. Not someone else's SKU.

Local retailers sell what's on the truck. Factory-direct means we tool to your project — your dimensions, your finishes, your geometry. Customization isn't an upcharge; it's the starting point.

Windows

Any height, any width.

We tool to your opening, not to the nearest stock size. Mullion patterns, glazing specs, hardware finishes — your spec, not a catalog.

Cabinetry

Built panel-by-panel.

Match your wood grain, your handle style, your closet geometry. Full-overlay or inset, soft-close, real wood — configured to your kitchen, not adapted from a SKU.

Countertops

Full slabs, your layout.

Cut to your countertop plan. Custom edge profiles, matched book-ends across kitchen and bath, sink cutouts to your spec. No template restrictions.

Doors

8-foot, 9-foot, 10-foot.

Solid-core interior doors at non-standard heights without the U.S. premium. Pre-finished, pre-hung, hardware included — sized to your openings.

Same logic applies to every category we source. If a local supplier said you couldn't have it, send us the spec — factory-direct almost always can.

How it works

Four steps. One honest bid.

From the moment you send us a scope to delivery on your jobsite. Same finish quality, sourced where the markup isn't.

  1. 01

    Send us your scope.

Plans, schedules, or just a shopping list. We work from whatever you have — PDF, spreadsheet, photos, hand sketches. We don't gatekeep.

  2. 02

We send you a bid package.

A branded quote with line-by-line pricing, lead times, and NOA documentation where it applies. Pricing locked for 30 days, no surprise adders at landing.

  3. 03

Samples and QC, before it ships.

We review production samples at the factory in China and can ship physical samples to you for finish approval. Pre-shipment inspection includes dimension verification plus photo and video walkthroughs for your sign-off.

  4. 04

    Delivery to your jobsite.

We handle every leg from the factory to your front door — ocean freight, customs clearance, and local trucking from the port to your jobsite. You sign off on what you ordered, not on what fits on a truck.

Why we built this

"We don't import-broker. Every supplier, spec, and QC protocol we offer to clients has been pressure-tested on real construction — starting with the founder's own job site in Miami."

Build Supply Direct works with owner-builders, general contractors, and developers who want what the U.S. supply chain doesn't volunteer: transparent factory-direct pricing, NOA-compliant documentation, and a turnkey landed-cost process you can plan a schedule around.

Common questions

The things buyers ask before they send a scope.

Honest answers to what comes up most. If your question isn't here, ask in your RFQ or email hello@buildsupplydirect.com.

01How does pricing work?

Every quote is all-in landed cost — the number on your bid includes ocean freight, customs duties, and local trucking from the port to your jobsite. No surprise adders at landing. Pricing locks for 30 days from issuance.

02What's the deposit and payment structure?

Simple two-part schedule: 50% to place the order and lock production, and the 50% balance upon shipping. Larger or multi-container projects can arrange custom terms.

03What if something arrives damaged?

Two safeguards. Before anything ships, you sign off on a photo-and-video QC walkthrough at the factory — so defects are caught before they're ever on a boat. And every shipment carries trade insurance: if anything arrives damaged in transit, we manage the claim with the carrier and replace it at no cost to you.

04Can I see samples before ordering?

Yes. For finishes where it matters — wood species, stone slabs, paint colors, hardware finishes — we ship physical samples for sign-off before any production run. We also review production samples at the factory ourselves.

05Do you handle installation?

Sourcing only. We deliver to your jobsite; you bring your own installer, or we can refer trusted ones in South Florida. Keeping installation separate keeps our quotes honest — we never inflate the material number to cover labor risk.

06What about NOA / hurricane code compliance?

Every impact-rated piece ships with the Miami-Dade Notice of Acceptance, lab-tested per ASTM E1996. Compliance is locked at order specification, not after delivery. For projects outside Florida we still provide full testing documentation on request.

07Is there a minimum order size?

No hard minimum, but the economics tilt toward whole-house or multi-category orders where ocean freight amortizes across the package. We'll quote a single room or category if it makes sense for both sides — just ask.

08Can you source something not on your category list?

Almost certainly yes. If it's manufactured in China and the volume makes the freight worthwhile, we can source it. Send the spec — we've quoted everything from car lifts to outdoor sculpture.

09Who do you work with — residential, commercial, both?

Primarily residential and small developments: single-family custom homes, multi-unit, renovations. If you have a commercial scope, send it. We'll tell you honestly whether we're a fit.
